Avant de rentrer dans ce qui m'a motivé à la base à écrire mon message, petite news. UDON qui avait déjà sorti l'artbook de AA 1->4 sur le continent Américain, a annoncé il y a quelques semaines qu'il allait éditer l'artbook - de Dual Destinies - de PL Vs AA. GUREITO. Quand je pense aux illustrations d'Athena et de AURORA qui nous attendent, entre autres, je suis tout fou. Surtout que j'hésitais à m’acheter les versions jap tout récemment. Tiens cc Nemo. Un exemple du genre d'Athena que l'on pourrait retrouver dans l'artbook DD BADASSCLASS. Ensuite. LF1 a écrit Ça vaut la peine d'essayer de relancer la saga chez nous si au final on traduit pas les jeux. A la base j'avais choisi, volontairement de ne pas répondre au message, mais bon vu que c'est d'actualité et que je n'arrive pas à dormir, hop. "Relancer la sage chez nous". Par "chez nous", qu'entends-tu ? En France ? Navré mais le jeu ne sort pas en France. Il sort en Europe. En zone PAL quoi. La différence peut paraître minime mais eeeh pas tant que cela. La zone PAL est la seule dans laquelle plusieurs langues se confrontent. La zone NTSC-J ne comprend baah que le Japon où tout le monde parle japonais, et la zone NTSC-US "que" l'Amérique du Nord même si je suis certain que les habitants de l'Amérique du Sud consomment du NTSC-US mais c'est un peu hors sujet. Et dedans, tout le monde parle ricain Oui le Québec est une minorité et ils sont à peu près tous bilingues là bas donc bon. La zone PAL on a quoi ? Anglais, espagnol, portuguais, allemand, français, suédois, russe etc etc... Et traduire/adapter un jeu dans une langue. Ça a un coût. Assez grand pour un jeu surtout lorsqu'il comprend autant de texte qu'un VN comme AA Le coût des traductions/adaptations est une conversation que j'ai pu avoir avec pbsaffran, et en plus ça prend du temps. Du coup, quand t'es une société comme Capcom, tu vois la traduction/adaptation comme un investissement. Si tu constates par exemple, que la trad en français d'un jeu t'as coûté X€ et que la vente de ce jeu en France t'as rapporté une somme YX pas de manière non plus super importante, tu sais que ton jeu intéresse en majorité une certaine tranche d'âge de personnes, et que dans cette tranche, tu as un pourcentage non négligeable qui parle anglais. En tant qu'Entreprise, ton but étant en partie d'être rentable faire "plaisir" aux joueurs, aux fans, étant une vision un peu utopique de concevoir les buts d'une Entreprise, même si elle fait du divertissement, ou du jeu vidéo, tu peux naturellement te diriger vers la décision d'arrêter la trad en français/espagnol/italien/whatever parce que tu ne t'y retrouve pas dans tes comptes, ou pas assez. Du coup tu te dis "Bah tant pis, anglais pour tous, de toute façon c'est parlé par X% des habitants de l'Europe, sachant que si on ne prend que notre public cible, c'est X+Y% qui parle anglais. Alors oui, c'est relou, dommage, vilain Crapcom/Cashcom bouhou whatever. Mais c'est comme ça et je ne vois pas pourquoi ils verraient la chose autrement. Et au cas où tu te dirais "Ils n'ont qu'à ressortir les trads déjà existantes des opus DS, là je vais un peu reprendre ce dont j'ai parlé entre autres avec Gold de sache que ce n'est pas si simple. La trad doit être REFAITE car tu ne peux pas juste piocher les textes dans les fichiers de la DS ou autre. C'est impossible. De plus, les sprites de décor etc... doivent également être refaits. Ça a un coût et ça prend du temps. Après on pourrait parler de Professeur Layton Vs Ace Attorney... Là le problème est encore différent. Certes, ce jeu a eu le droit à une adaptation complète textes, voix et même à une boîte mais c'est LEVEL-5 qui gère la licence Layton qui a assuré tous les coûts d'adaptation. Le jeu sort bientôt aux USA oui les Européens on été servis 6 mois avant les Américains... POUR UNE FOIS. Mais bon même avec ceci, on pourrait se dire. "EEeeeh ptêt que çà va motiver Capcom à retraduire ses jeux !". Eeeeh je ne pense pas. Pour le moment, le jeu s'est vendu en Europe boîte seulement, vu que Nintendo ne communique pas publiquement les ventes de l'e-shop à un peu moins de 90k unités sachant qu'il est sorti fin Mars 2014. Ce n'est pas un mauvais chiffre Pour comparer un peu, Tales of The Abyss a 130k unités vendues depuis 2011 mais le dernier Layton, a vendu +90k unités en à peine trois semaines de ventes et était fin 2013 à plus de 310k unités vendues alors qu'il est sorti en Novembre 2013... Pas de quoi non plus remuer fort les fesses quoi. Ne nous leurrons pas, ce sont des bons chiffres mais je ne crois pas que cela suffise à motiver Capcom à traduire de nouveau ses jeux. En attendant, Capcom sort Trilogie en Europe et c'est cool. Tout comme la version iOS de Dual Destinies. Même si l'effort pour ces deux localisation en Europe, ont été faîtes dans la plus grande des flemmardises par Capcom, il est plaisant de se dire que la série a un avenir en Europe, même si c'est en anglais. Au moins je pense que je pourrais me mettre AA6 et DGS entre les doigts, sur ma 3DS PAL. Et ça suffit à me faire plaisir. Talk to Powers if you want to know more about him, the Nickel Samurai, and The Jammin' Ninja Will Powers Powers used to work at Global Studios, one time he was framed for murder. Thankfully, you took this case against your will and cleared his name. Now, as funny as it sounds, he's wearing a bunny costume and doing a kid's exercise program. The Nickel Samurai The actor for the Nickel Samurai is named Matt Engarde, who is very popular according to Maya. Jammin' Ninja The Jammin' Ninja works at another studios. His name is Juan Corrida by the way. Apparently, he and Engarde don't get along very well. It should take time before the show starts. Move to the Hallway. Hallway[edit] Examine everything if you want to pass time, otherwise Move back to the Viola Hall. If you're not sure what the hallway looks like since there's no picture, there's walls of flowers on the left, toilets near the end with the sign on the top, target style board with flowers on it and a teddy bear near the bottom left of the picture. Viola Hall[edit] After hearing you will be attending the press conference, Powers will give you the Press Conference Ticket, which will be added to the Court Record. Now, Move to the Hotel Lobby. Hotel Lobby[edit] Once you arrive, you will hear an announcement from the PA, which will tell you that the show is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances. They also have a request from the police to stay where you are. The police!? You are then encountered by a familiar voice. Those who remember the case with Powers may also recognize the grouchy Wendy Oldbag, who claims to be security here. Then why is she wearing an astronaut suit? And a ray gun? Just hope she acts her age. Talk to Oldbag and if you remember the case, she's an inane chatterbox. Wendy Oldbag Oldbag worked with Global Studios until she was fired after "that" incident. She now works as a security personnel. What happened? Oldbag doesn't have all of the details, but another one of those "incidents" has occurred. A murder? Maya decides to check what happened. You agree to do so, unwillingly of course. Move to the Viola Hall. Viola Hall 2[edit] A bellboy borrows Maya for a moment saying someone is asking for her on the phone. Maya will leave the party for now. Move to the Hallway. Hallway 2[edit] It's Lotta Hart and Gumshoe! Their argument reveals a murder just took place! Lotta will leave. Talk to Gumshoe. What happened Pearl wonders if the Nickel Samurai was murdered. Gumshoe reveals that the Nickel Samurai actually got arrested! It was The Jammin' Ninja who was killed. Lotta Hart Gumshoe will say that Lotta was here when the murder was committed, and is now eager for a real "scoop". This comment will prove important later. The victim The name of the victim is Juan Corrida, the actor of the Jammin' Ninja. He and Engarde had been hogging the spotlight for years. Now that Corrida is gone, would Engarde hold the spotlight? Gumshoe doesn't think so. Present Matt Engarde's Profile to Gumshoe. You will learn he had just been arrested for murder. Arrested!? Arrested? Gumshoe says he can't bring out the details now. Maya's a big fan of Engarde's, so you know she's going to want to take the case as soon as she hears about this. Move to the Hotel Lobby. Hotel Lobby 2[edit] You will see Powers. It looks like he is holding a transceiver. Powers says a bellboy handed it to him recently. Powers gives you the Radio Transceiver, which will be added to the Court Record. Why did the bellboy want Powers to give it to you? Talk to Powers Matt and Juan Powers says the two are nasty rivals. They would butt heads over stardom. Press conference Engarde planned to wear the Nickel Samurai costume at the press conference. But why? Pearl then asks a question, where's Maya? She's been gone for a long time for answering a phone call. Just then, the transceiver beeps. You answer it. A mysterious voice brings some bad news to you Maya has been kidnapped! The voice is the kidnapper and is holding her life for ransom! The kidnapper wants you to take Engarde's case. He wants a complete acquittal for Engarde, because he says Engarde didn't kill Corrida, because he was set up by a smarter person. The kidnapper brings you a tougher challenge, to get the not guilty verdict in one day! The kidnapper hangs up, introducing himself as "De Killer". You can't get the police involved. Pearl suggests you talk to "Mr. Scruffy" detective. Will Powers would look after Pearl while you automatically go to the Hallway and explain to Gumshoe for a shocking reaction. Hallway 3[edit] You tell Gumshoe about the ransom. Gumshoe thinks if De Killer is holding Maya for Engarde's complete acquittal, then he must be working for Engarde, and Engarde must be the real murderer. The police found so much evidence, they felt like something is wrong. Almost as if someone is setting Engarde up for the murder. ???[edit] The game leaves Phoenix's POV and switches to Maya's. You wake up inside some sort of wine cellar. You are then encountered by the kidnapper, who looks quite familiar. The man introduces himself as De Killer, who assures you he isn't planning to kill you... yet. He then calls Phoenix leading to a call you heard earlier. Wright & Co. Law Offices[edit] The game returns to Phoenix's POV. A day has passed. Pearl will accompany you for now. Talk to Pearl What to do? You have no choice but to head to the Detention Center. Pearl is worried that Matt might be the killer but you tell her that it's too early to jump to conclusions. Maya's situation Pearl has no family. Her father left and her mother is in Detention Center because of the incident involving a broken Sacred Urn. Maya is like her sister and that's all she has left in the world. Move to the Detention Center. Detention Center[edit] You will meet Matt Engarde himself after some misunderstandings. He likes to "talk" to his "phone" on his wristwatch from time to time you'll see the antenna stick out of his device on his watch. Also, he likes to use the word "dude". Talk to Engarde. Matt Engarde Engarde doesn't answer directly and says he is writing an autobiography. His publisher tells him not to say anything personal. What happened Again, Engarde doesn't answer directly. He does, however, claim innocence. He isn't talking. Present the Press Conference Ticket. He says he knows nothing about it. Huh? Present the Radio Transceiver to Engarde. After hearing about the ransom, Engarde will accept you as his lawyer, and will help you out. Talk to Engarde again Matt Engarde It looks like he enjoys being the Nickel Samurai. The popularity, the women, the stardom, etc. What happened Engarde claims he was preparing for the post-ceremony show. He was in his Nickel Samurai costume, resting all along. When he woke up, Corrida was already dead and Engarde was arrested. The victim Engarde says he had nothing to do with Corrida at the time. He beat Corrida at the ceremony, so he had no reason to kill him. The charge of murder Engarde says the police found a button on his costume. The button belonged to the Jammin' Ninja's costume, so they suspected Engarde. It looks like the real murderer tried to frame him. Pearl convinces you to try out the Magatama. You don't have to present it as Phoenix does so automatically. Engarde says once more that he didn't kill Corrida. Thankfully, no Psyche-Locks appear. It looks like he is innocent after all!rLi2.
